Mediception Science Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "MediKnowl") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the MediKnowl website and learning platform, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Data we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), and optional profile details such as phone number, title, specialty, medical council and registration number, and state.
• Learning records: programmes you enrol in, progress, quiz and assessment results, and certificates.
• Orders and payments: items bought, amounts, coupon used, invoice details and payment reference. Online payments are processed by Razorpay; we never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password.
• Enquiries: details you send through our contact, team quote or WhatsApp channels.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited and cookies (see below).

2. How we use it

• To create your account and give you access to programmes you buy.
• To process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds.
• To issue and verify certificates.
• To answer your questions and send service messages about your orders and classes.
• To improve our programmes and website, using aggregated statistics.
• To send offers, only if you have not opted out. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and chosen coupon. We also record anonymous page-visit statistics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but signing in and checkout will not work without essential cookies.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., to process payments and refunds;
• service providers that host our website and send our emails, under confidentiality obligations;
• your employer or sponsoring organisation, if they enrolled you as part of a team (progress and completion only);
• authorities, when required by law.

5. Retention and security

We keep account and learning records while your account is active and for as long as needed to verify certificates. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law. Data is stored on secured servers with access limited to authorised staff.

6. Your rights

You can view and update your profile at any time. You can ask us to correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or ask what data we hold, by emailing us. Some records (such as invoices and issued certificates) must be kept to meet legal obligations.

7. Children

Our programmes are meant for students and professionals aged 18 and over.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
